AVENIDA DEL DIABLO
There are 5 different varietals planted on this property, totaling to 3 acres. The varietals planted are Cabernet Sauvignon, Sangiovese, Malbec, Nero D'Avola and Syrah. Cabernet and Sangiovese vineyards were planted in June 2003, and Nero D'Avola in 2007. Syrah and Malbec were planted in June 2009. Also at the estate is our main olive grove, planted in 2002, which includes 350 full grown olive trees that are in production. The olive varietals are Arbequina from Spain and Leccino from the Umbria, Italy region.
SANDIA CREEK - NORTH
On this property, there are 2000 Cataratto vines and 800 Moscato Canelli planted on this parcel which are all of Sicilian variety, as well as our main garden which is planted seasonally. There are also 200 Nocellara Del Belice olive trees.
EL PRADO
There are 3 different varietals planted on this property, totaling to 5 acres which is 6,600 plants. The varietals planted are Cabernet Sauvignon, Sangiovese and Syrah. This vineyard was planted in June 2014. On the property is also 200 Frantoio olive trees, which originate from Toscana, Italy.
VIA ENCANTADA
This is a 10 acre parcel with 3,200 Pinot Noir vines planted. This vineyard was planted in June 2014. There are also over 300 Nocellara Del Belice olive trees on this property.
SANDIA CREEK - SOUTH
Our newest Poggio Leano Property is the home of our Montepulciano (Abruzzo), Aglianico (Basilica, South Italy), Pinot Grigio (Veneto) and Sagrantino (Umbria) vineyards.
