WINE CLUB TERMS & CONDITIONS
Poggio Leano Wine Club automatically bills members credit card for shipments including all applicable tax, handling, and shipping costs. It is members responsibility to change any billing, shipping, and contact information; and member understands that most communication is done by email. Member is responsible for any changed incurred for redirected or returned shipments. Poggio Leano is not responsible for temperature fluctuations during or after shipments. All shipments are subject to weather holds. Wine Club shipments are billed approximately one week prior to pick up events. Please keep in mind that shipment-specific wines are only guaranteed within 30 days of the shipment date. If a wine is no longer available, a newer vintage or comparable wine will be chosen. An individual 21 years of age or older must be present and sign for a wine shipment delivery. Poggio Leano reserves the right to alter or change club prices, benefits, policies, event dates and/or shipping arrangements at any time. The member assumes all risk of injury or harm that may occur at any of Poggio Leano's organized events and agrees to release, indemnify, defend, and forever discharge Poggio Leano from all liability, claims, demands, damages, costs, expenses, and causes of action due to death, injury, loss, or damage to the wine club member or property of the wine club member. All club shipments require an adult signature of someone 21 years or older at time of delivery. If a signature is not retreived in a few attempts, the postal service will returns back to Poggio Leano. Poggio Leano is not responsible for returned shipments. The return of the wine as well as re-shipment will be at the members expense. We recommend shipments be sent to a business address. All benefits of the membership are nontransferable. Member understands they may cancel membership at any time after four shipments have been paid and all cancellations must be made in writing, by email or letter, with a 15-day notice. Early cancelations will incur a $75 administrative fee. Benefits are no longer valid the day that the written cancelation notice is received. Member understands that Poggio Leano reserves the right to terminate membership at its discretion. Wine Club Memberships are void where prohibited and all club shipments are subject to your own state's alcohol shipping laws.
Passport to Sicily Club Additional Terms:
You must be an active member and have paid for four or more wine shipments to receive the benefit of complimentary accommodations at Poggio Leano Properties in Sicily, Italy. You are able to pay for future shipments in advance in order to receive the benefit sooner. One active membership includes two nights at the Poggio Leano Beach Resort in Donnalucata and five nights at the Poggio Leano Suites in Piazza Armerina. Bookings are taken on a first come, first serve basis. The complimentary accommodations are for two persons only. If you wish to increase the amount of guests, there will be additional charges. Suite stays must be redeemed within two years. If after two years of receiving a complimentary stay at Poggio Leano Properties the active member has not redeemed the stay, the accumulated accommodations will expire. A member can only have two weeks accumulated at a time. A member is only allocated one room per week. If a member desires to have more than one room per week at any of the Poggio Leano Properties, they are able to for the respective nightly rate. Complimentary accommodations are nontransferable and can not be donated or sold. Service and/or cleaning fees will applied to your stay. These accommodations are exclusively for active members of the Passport to Sicily club and their children.

Poggio Leano Winery complies with all federal, state and local laws regarding sale of alcohol to minors. You must be 21 years of age or older to order wine from us, and by law you must ship the wine to a place where adult signature (21 years old or older with proper identification of age) will receive it. If no one is available to receive the package, additional attempts to deliver will be made. If these attempts are unsuccessful, your order will be returned to the shipping department it originated from. Poggio Leano is not responsible for returned shipments. The return of the wine as well as re-shipment will be at the members expense.
All orders are shipped via the best possible manner depending on your location. Most orders are shipped within 3-5 business days, excluding holidays and weekends.
We cannot ship alcohol to PO Boxes or APO/FPO addresses. Due to international shipping restrictions, we do not ship to locations abroad.
